The ski areas in Tyrol: Where winter tales come true

Experience pure winter joy. In the heart of the eastern Alps lies the Tyrolean Oberland, where the three countries Austria, Switzerland, and Italy meet. This, the ski areas in Tyrol, and the unique mountain and natural world make this region an incomparable dream destination for winter adventurers, connoisseurs, skiing enthusiasts, passionate cross-country skiers, and tobogganers.

A place with tradition

In the middle of it all is the village of Prutz, situated on the former Roman road Via Claudia Augusta, with its 1,700 inhabitants. A charming little place with a village centre where you can still see the typical Tyrolean farmhouses huddled closely together – and our Aktiv Hotel Post: the ideal starting point for winter adventures of all kinds. Just take a look at the map: Tyrol’s ski areas are right on our doorstep. Tyrol’s ski dimension Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, the small & fine family ski area Prutz-Ried-Fendels right next door, the majestic Kaunertal Glacier or the Nauders ski area, the Venet ski area, and the large-scale ski region Ischgl-Samnaun. Which ski area in Tyrol will you discover today?

Because letting go can also contribute to a successful holiday …

All these exceptional ski areas in Tyrol are not far from our hotel in Prutz and can be reached comfortably and quickly by car or with the free ski bus (which stops right outside our front door).
